The event: The first of 4 weddings this year, attended with my dad
The couple: Rob and Suzy, friends from church. Rob is the brother of my friend Liz. Suzy looked absolutely radiant. Bridesmaid Liz was rocking great makeup.
The venue: A nearby baptist church. Lovely sanctuary with blue cushions on the pews and chandeliers. The reception was in the fellowship hall below which had surprisingly good ambience. The over head lights were dimmed. The hall was decorated with fairylights and fake flowers.
Bar: None! This is a baptist church, y'all. no drinking. no dancing. But they had a really cool fountain which dispensed yummy sparkling cider.
Unusual: Guests did the human pyramid to get the couple to kiss.
Afzakkertje: We're home. Ha ha! Not at that Baptist church anymore
