Apparently, the traffic situation in the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe in Paris is so dangerous that no insurance company will cover car accidents that occur there. (This also applies to rental car insurance.) So if you wreck your car in that roundabout, you will have to pay for a new one yourself.Moral of the story: take le metropolitain.
