Just wanted to give a quick sign of life. When I was in the US, I heard stories from my friends about their having to take on extra work when colleagues were laid off. At the time, that seemed 'ver van m'n bed show.' I was wrong.
I'm in a secure position, probably more secure than ever before. But reduced capacity means long work days will be the norm for me for some time to come. I've also had internet connectivity issues. So I will try to update soon. (I feel a post about Dutch people and Nespresso machines bubbling up inside me.) Until then, to all my peers spending their evenings at their offices: I salute you!
