The sorry state of Dutch medical insurance

The following is a transcript of an actual phone conversation I had with a representative from my insurance company this afternoon.

Emma: Good afternoon. I'm calling with a question regarding a bill for my recent dental treatment. I've sent the bill on to your offices to be processed and I'm wondering when I'll be reimbursed.

Insurance company representative: Are you insured with our company?

Emma: Yes, that's why I'm calling.
