It reminded me a bit of this bomb scene in an episode of classic Batman. Losties, do you agree? (It's funny but it's also a bit tedious, so don't feel obliged to watch.)

Losing the plot
Opinion over the season finale of Lost is divided. Personally, I loved it. No matter how much I obsess over this show, the writers keep managing to surprise me. There was just one thing that I thought was silly: Sayid removes "core" of the hydrogen bomb seen here, carries it around the island for hours in his backpack, gets shot in the gut by rifle fire, and yet miraculously the bomb doesn't explode.
